Artful Birdhouse

Today I thought I would share my Copper roofed birdhouse. I started making these because I wanted one for my backyard as we get a lot of bird visitors. I added the copper to the top of the birdhouse as an accent and to prevent water leakage into the house itself. (Oregon Rain). I made the sides easy to open so that they could be cleaned when the birds were finished raising their young. I had a bird family that moved right in this past spring and they made a fine nest inside, it was great and so fun to watch! I have sold a few of these in all different sizes and I hope that everyone put them up and provided a bird family a home.
